CONTRARY TO MYTH, A STAR IS RARELY BORN
Acting, like other creative art forms, requires dedication, discipline, talent, and technique.
As an artist and an actor, the role of becoming and exploring is an ongoing process. If your immediate
aspirations are aimed at doing just commercials, then Theatre Group Studio is probably not the acting school for you.
THEATRE GROUP STUDIO
There are no "typical" students. People of all ages and from various backgrounds have studied and performed at Theatre Group Studio. We firmly believe that acting is based upon the search for the soul. When students
experience true emotion, their work becomes quite personal. We believe no actor gets on stage to do bad work. We believe everyone does their best. Our instructors concentrate on establishing trust and bonding
while nourishing the actor's individual expression.
After you have completed the three basic courses, you are invited to audition for the Theatre Group Acting Company. We have many productions including Sunday play readings for the public. Past productions included THE JEWISH WIFE by Bertoldt Brecht, WHITE LIES by Peter Shaffer, an adaptation of
the CREDITORS, and four well-received one-act plays written by Ms. Vozoff.
